About the role
Veritect is building India's most advanced legal intelligence platform — used by lawyers, law firms, and legal, risk & compliance management teams to research faster, draft smarter, and work with confidence. We're an AI-first product team shipping at speed, with a clear mission: make Indian legal practice radically more efficient. We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help us scale the platform that's quickly becoming the go-to research and drafting layer for the Indian legal ecosystem.
What you will do
Responsibilities.
- ¶ 01 Architect and ship scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern cloud-native services.
- ¶ 02 Build AI-powered features — search, semantic retrieval, document analysis, and intelligent drafting workflows used by lawyers every day.
- ¶ 03 Partner with AI/ML engineers to integrate large language models deep into the product.
- ¶ 04 Own quality end-to-end — performance, security, and data privacy in a domain where compliance is non-negotiable.
What you will bring
Requirements.
- ¶ 01 3–5 years of full-stack development experience shipping production-grade products.
- ¶ 02 Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- ¶ 03 Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms and serverless / edge architectures.
- ¶ 04 Solid understanding of databases, full-text and vector search, and retrieval systems.
- ¶ 05 A genuine passion for building products that make a real impact — and a bias toward shipping over perfecting.

- ¶ 01 GitHub projects we can dig into — side projects, OSS contributions, or experiments that show how you think.
- ¶ 02 You've vibe-coded something real with AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, etc.) and shipped it to actual users.
- ¶ 03 You've participated in hackathons — won, lost, or just stayed up 36 hours building something cool.
- ¶ 04 You've dabbled with agentic tools — Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar — and built something that actually works, not just demos.
