Eligibility criteria
- Must hold a degree in law from any recognised university in India
- Must be enrolled as an advocate on the roll of the Bar Council of any State or Union Territory
- Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali is mandatory (exemption for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali)
- Must be a citizen of India
- Age and other requirements as specified in the original advertisement dated 13 August 2025
