Eligibility criteria
- Only candidates who qualified the UKPSC Civil Judge (Junior Division) Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear for the Mains
- The prelims was held on 31 August 2025 and the final answer key was published on 22 January 2026
- Candidates must hold an LL.B. degree from a recognised university and be enrolled as an advocate with a State Bar Council
How to download the admit card
- Visit the official UKPSC website at psc.uk.gov.in
- Navigate to the "Admit Card" or "Candidate Corner" section
- Click on the Civil Judge (Junior Division) Mains Admit Card 2026 link
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
- Click Submit — the admit card will appear on screen
- Download the PDF and print at least 2-3 copies for exam day
Important notes
- The mains examination will be conducted over four days (21-24 April 2026) and consists of descriptive papers covering Civil Law, Criminal Law, Revenue Law, and other subjects prescribed in the UKPSC syllabus
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or Passport) to the exam centre — digital copies will not be accepted
- Download the admit card well in advance and resolve any discrepancies (photograph, name, or centre details) with UKPSC at least 2-3 days before the exam
- Candidates who qualified the prelims in August 2025 should ensure their mains preparation covers the latest statutory amendments including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023
